Our organic farm is situated in an ideal location between the snow-sure high altitude ski area of Obertauern and the family ski area of Radstadt, which belongs to the Ski Amadé, the largest ski association in Austria. Both ski areas can be reached in a few minutes drive. In winter there is a free ski bus service throughout the day from Untertauern to Obertauern (ski lifts are in operation from the end of November until the beginning of May).

Cross country skiing & Ski touring

Clip on your cross country skis and explore the beautiful winter countryside around the Loitzhof. Access to the well-groomed cross country trail is right in front of our house. Another great winter activity is a ski tour well away from the hustle and bustle of the ski slopes. Amid the tranquility you can only hear your own breath and the crunching of the snow underfoot.

Winter walking, Tobogganing & Sleigh rides

A snowhoe walk in unspoilt nature amid gently falling snowflakes is a very special experience. Tobogganing on the Gnadenalm and in Radstadt is great fun for all the family. Every Tuesday and Thursday you can go night tobogganing on the 6 km long toboggan run in Radstadt. A romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride is the highlight of any winter holiday.
